I bought an A53 because of guaranteed updates, but A52s is a better phone. Would've bought A73, but it is not available in my country. I don't notice a performance loss against the old SD865 though, as I don't play games on my phone at all.

The battery life numbers are wrong you should update those. The Snapdragon 778G is more battery efficient despite being 6nm, compared to the Exynos 1280s 5nm chipset.

Throttling and sustained performance
I ran the test comparing both of these devices, and while both were consistent in their performance, the Snapdragon chipset was ahead the entire time. This still showed a much more reasonable outcome for the Exynos though and is not indicative of a problem in itself.
Top-end phones
Unsurprisingly, PUBG New State can run easily on most high-end devices. To wit, devices backed by Qualcomm's 8-series processors, Exynos 990/2100 platform, and Apple's A14/A15 Bionic SoCs could comfortably run the title at the Ultra graphics and Max FPS settings.
